Chocolate eggs are garnished with small pieces of strawberries and a white chocolate mousse.
Success guaranteed to small ... and big!
Chocolate Eggs, Strawberries, and White Chocolate
8 chocolate eggs
3 or 4 strawberries (depending on size)
40 g white chocolate pastry
80 g whole cream
Using the tip of a knife, gently remove the top of the eggs.
Cut the strawberries into small cubes, then place them in the bottom of the eggs.
Melt the chocolate in a microwave in slices of 20 seconds, stirring between each or in a bain Marie.
Assemble the cream very Chantilly.
Add a spoonful of whipped cream to the melted white chocolate and stir vigorously. Repeat a second time, then incorporate the rest delicately with the spatula.
Pour the foam into a socket pocket, then fill the eggs.
Reserve 1 hour before serving (or devour!).
Finally, present these chocolate eggs in egg cartons, then serve in egg cups. To eat with your fingers!
Do not hesitate to double the quantities if the hunt was good because these pretty eggs disappear in no time!
